My iPhone diary: Stolen watercolour on my homage to Hong Kong Film memories

To my surprise, when I returned to my house near Rome, this round format Magani sketchbook on which I did watercolours on Hong Kong film memories disappeared.( except for the cover page on which I painted a portrait of my mother when she was young- It was being separated from the rest of the images and placed on another spot of my living room, thus avoiding the tragic ending of being stolen.)

The thieves must have been very interested in those particular scenes I picked of all the old Hong Kong films I used to watch.

Kindly be adviced that whoever present the original watercolour sketches on this series are the stolen pieces.

Whoever happens to have been presented the above images, kindly inform me so I could at least get to meet this potential stealer of watercolours.

Thank you

Hong Kong

P.S

For those who are interested in knowing if I did recover the place mats I lost during the summer months in Hong Kong:

No, I did not get to know where they have gone. In my studio in Rome, I still have some copies of the exact place mats I lost , though they are of a better quality. The first batch of place mats were not well printed, and those are the ones I lost.

To Detective 衛斯理,

Wondering if you have any idea where these images have gone?

As the thieves seem to have possessed the keys to my space, ( no windows and doors  forced this time) the  only possibility is that they have gotten the imprints of my keys while stealing my place mats in Hong Kong...

Today the 11th Of March 2019

Regarding the watercolour images, I happened to recall one tiny episode: this video was sent to Antonio Pisapia-my husband’s Facebook . The fact that Antonio himself had immense difficulties couple years ago to be able to convince Facebook that someone else had borrowed his picture and used that at that person’s profile, we could only create one extra Facebook page in order to deny that old page with some friends who were only fictitious  characters .Antonio was not able to use his own phone number to delete that page because that other person has somehow changed Antonio’s original number. That said, when my video was sent to the new Facebook page, I had hoped that the other Antonio Pisapia could not at all have access to his file and steal anything from him. But what surprised me was that those images were not virtually stolen, but someone went into my house and stole the original ones.

So professional was his manner that I had to seek help from衛斯理to sort out this problem.

The last thing I would like to declare before detective 衛would approach me: that those images would be gifts to the personages ( actors and actresses)painted, and in case they are not interested, I would give them to the directors of the films. Therefore, the thieves would never be able to treat them as commercial products. If in case anyone has seen them being presented to you, do not purchase them as I painted them only because of thankfulness: I was happy to see Hong Kong film again and I would love to give them to my favourite actors and directors as a return of their wonderful way of allowing me to be nostalgic, hence my returning to Hong Kong after having spent 42 years abroad .

Thank you

P.S. And hopefully, the portraits of Mum and Dad ( with 2 versions of Dad) are not stolen though I made every effort to locate them but still not be found. The 18 month calendar  I made with memories of Mum and Dad were also printed with these portraits.
