After seeing Hockney's, I went to see Hodgkin's

The guard in front of the pavilion recognised my insistence and on the last day gave me the piece of material designed by Hodgkin which they used as a table cloth for the catalogues

Hodgkin reminded of my first period in Italy- his Venice Biennale in 1984 where I went to see seven times for a consecutive seven days

Later I went home and did my first skirt using that pink and green material entirely sewn by hand, without trimming off any  in order to pay homage to the artist

Now that dress is somehow lost

Like many beautiful things in life

Somehow they lose the trace

Thank you to all my beloved artists, you make my life more meaningful and my days more joyful

it is a blessing to be able to see one's favourite artists' works  in order to be refreshed with one's memories
